A George III silver mug,
maker's mark worn, London 1808,
tapering circular form, with an upper and lower band of reeded decoration, scroll handle, the base engraved with an armorial and inscribed, 'S.J.Unwin, Lieut. 3rd Royal Westminster Middlesex Militia, July 15th, 1859', on a later presentation wooden plinth, height off plinth 11.5cm, approx. weight 14oz.
