A George III sampler, Isabelah Hastings, her work in the 11 year of her age 1788, centred four lines of verse with a dog's tooth border, surrounded by plants, trailing foliage, the base with a vase of flowers flanked by two recumbent stags and two moths, 13.75 x 12.5in (35 x 32cm).
