A George III mahogany bureau bookcase, the moulded dentil cornice above a pair of astragal glazed doors of elliptical design, enclosing three adjustable shelves, the hinged fall revealing a fitted interior of drawers and pigeon holes around a central cupboard door with secret pilaster compartments to a baize lined surface, above two short and three long graduated drawers, fitted replaced brass swan neck handles, the underside of one stamped '4593', flanked by canted angles on bracket feet, 92in (234cm) h, 46in (116.5cm) w, 23.25in (58.8cm) d.
