A Chinese export lacquer games box, with canted corners and decorated with panels of pagodas and figures, the lift-off lid to a fitted interior with seven lidded boxes, six containing mother of pearl counters, and twelve small trays, seven decorated as playing cards, 2nd half 19th century, 5.25in (13.3cm) h, 15in (37.8cm) w, together with a smaller Chinese lacquer box also containing a quantity of counters.
