An Anglo-Indian tortoiseshell and ivory mounted box, Vizigapatam, with lac decoration, the hinged lid with pierced panels of scrolling foliage centred by figures, on carved paw feet, early 20th century, 3.25in (7.8cm) h, 10.5in (26.7cm) w, 5in (12.6cm) d, together with a similar sandalwood example.
