A George III mahogany knife box, with later painted decoration in the manner of Angelica Kauffmann, the sloping lid centred an oval stipple engraving of a lady with a dove and a sheep, framed by floral swags, the sides and fronts with ribbon tied trophies, the interior later fitted for stationery, 15in (38cm) h, 9in (23cm) w, 11.75in (29.7cm) d. One hinge broken, losses.
