PROPERTY OF A NOBLE FAMILY An impressive Fin de Siècle brooch, Circa 1900. Designed as a diamond set sun in splendour, the transitional circular brilliant cut diamonds graduate to approximately 3.00cts and are set in silver and gold. Detachable brooch mount and with hair ornament fitting, 7.8cm wide. Fitted case. Provenance: Mary Caroline, Countess of Lovelace (widow of Ralph, 2nd Earl of Lovelace and grandson of Lord Byron) and then by descent.
