Description

A large Yixing teapot and cover c.1700-25, each side sprigged with two playful lion dogs, tugging on long fabric ribbons issuing from a central roundel, amidst further auspicious objects, a scrolling floral band beneath the neck rim, the cover surmounted by a further lion dog with a loose brocade ball, seal marks, the spout and handle metal replacements, 22cm.
