An unusual Yixing teapot and cover late 17th / early 18th century, formed as fish swimming amongst crashing waves, the spout formed as the head of a mythical beast, the handle as a large fish, the metal cover with a dolphin finial, some damage to the spout, 13.8cm. (2) Provenance: the Arthur J Harris collection.
