A fine Chinese mottled grey jade cage cup 17th / 18th century, formed as a peach surrounded by elaborate openwork stalks and leaves issuing flowerheads, buds and with a crane perched to one side, some losses to the underside, 11.7cm.
Provenance: an important European private collection formed in the 19th century by a Russian nobleman and diplomat.
