A rare Chinese pale celadon jade hair ornament  Tang dynasty 618-907 AD, in the form of a crouching dove with wings slightly spread, its head tilted back and its fantail with scrolls to the side, the stone flecked with russet markings, 5.8cm. Together with a modern hardwood stand. (2)
