A George I burr elm bureau cabinet, the moulded cornice above a pair of shaped arch bevelled plate mirrored doors, with reeded outline mouldings enclosing a shelf, pigeon holes and walnut veneered drawers, above a pair of candle slides, the feather banded base with a hinged fall revealing a replaced inset leather, a sliding well cover, pigeon holes and drawers, the front with lopers above two short and two long graduated drawers, fitted replaced brass plates and escutcheons, on flattened bun feet, walnut sides, 81.75in (207.5cm) h, 40.5in (103cm) w, 21.75in (55.5cm) d.
