A George III mahogany bureau, the hinged fall inlaid a later marquetry conch shell, enclosing drawers and pigeon holes, above four long graduated drawers fitted replaced brass handles and bracket feet, 42.75in (108.5cm) h, 42.75in (108.5cm) w, 22.25in (56.5cm) d. Previously surmounted by a bookcase.
