Description

A seventeenth century West Country Seal top spoon, marked W.L thrice to stem and once to bowl, for William Lewis of Wincanton, circa 1666, the gilded seal-top with prick dot initials 'I.H over 'E.D' and dated '1666', slight tapering faceted stem, length 18.4cm, approx. weight 1.6oz.
