An early 18th century silver snuff box,
unmarked, circa 1720,
oval form, the hinged cover and base engraved with armorials within foliate scroll mantling, length 7.9cm, approx. weight 2.4oz.
The arms are unidentified, but there is a possibility that they are a Dutch / Low Countries noble shield .
