A George II provincial silver coffee pot,
by James Kirkup, Newcastle 1745,
baluster form, embossed foliate scroll decoration, the domed hinged cover with a cone finial, later scroll handle, the spout with a mask end, engraved with an armorial and a crest, on a raised circular foot, height 26cm, approx. weight 32oz.
The arms are those for Sackville.
