A Victorian 'Scottish market' silvergilt and varicoloured hardstone vinaigrette, in the form of a faceted vase, with engraved borders and a hinged cover set with a faceted citrine bosse, the grille hinged and pierced with scrollwork and a shell, heightened by engraving, unmarked, 2.1in (5.3cm) high.
