A 19th century carved cork inkstand, in the form of a lion's head, hinged to reveal a vase of flowers and a later glass liner, the oval base carved with a pair of flower heads, the front with a pen rest, 4in (10cm) h, 6.25in (15.8cm) w, under an associated glass dome with and ebonised base.
