A pair of George III large salts, on lion mask and paw feet, with embossed sides and a cast rim draped in flowers and scrolls, engraved with a coat of arms, together with a pair of matching salt shovels, crested, all by Samuel Whitford, London, 1816/17, the salts 4.4in (11cm) diameter, 19oz (4).
