Description
A Victorian diamond and pearl necklace, the graduated diamond and pearl set open scroll links suspend from stylised diamond set palmettes. Set in silver and gold. Diamond set knife edge section. Although there is no frame, the necklace probably had the function of being worn as a tiara.
With GIA certificate number 2125902657 and dated December 2010 stating that ten of the eighteen pearls weigh a total of 82.30g and range from 11.04 to 6.41mm, partially drilled, are natural pearls predominantly saltwater, pinctada species and predominantly heavily worked.
