A rare hexagonal Yixing teapot and cover mid 18th century, raised on a shaped footrim, the neck band impressed with a key fret design, the cover surmounted by a recumbent lion dog before a spinning brocade ball, indistinct oval seal mark to the cover, 20.8cm. (2)
