Description

An Yixing begging bowl 18th century, the pleasantly rounded shape with inverted rim, inscribed with a sutra with the temple name Xi Yu Si (Western Region) and an extensive calligraphic inscription, 15cm dia.

Provenance: from the collection of Arthur J Harris.
