Description
A massive Chinese gilt bronze model of Yama 18th century, standing in pratyalidhasana
on a human figure which lies prone on a bull; he wears a flayed elephant skin on his back, dharmapala ornaments and holds in his twelve arms tantric symbols including gada, danda, damaru and kapa, his sakti holds a kapala and a karttrka, all upon a double lotus base, the hair and details with traces of cold paint, and the details inset with turquoise, 35cm.
