Description
A Chinese blue and white bottle vase or yuhuchunping six character Guangxu mark and of the period 1875-1908, the body of a globular form, painted with bamboo and plantain amidst rockwork, below a foliate scrolling band, the neck with leaf-shaped lappets, the lower body with further bands of lappets and florets, together with a hardwood stand, 29cm. Provenance: by repute, from the collection of Francis Trickett, a Yorkshire industrialist c.1900, the current owner's great grandfather.
