A large Chinese Canton carved ivory armorial card case c.1860, one side with a shield above the motto Foy Pour Devoir, the reverse with a crowned monogram, all on a ground elaborately carved with figures, horses, trees and buildings, and with dragons and birds to the sides, damage to one corner of the lid, 15.3cm.
