Description

A George III soy frame, of hexafoil outline fitted with six later cut glass stoppered bottles and engraved on the cartouche with a crest and an Earl's coronet, each bottle hung with a crescent shaped sauce label "SOY", "CAYENNE", "CHILLI", "TARRAGON", "HARVEY'S", ANCHOVY", the labels, by John Robins c.1800, one only with a maker's mark, the frame by Robert Peaston, London 1764, the cruet 5.75in (14.5cm) high, 8.5oz weighable silver.
