A cast bronzed and gilt brass mantel clock, with a replaced platform lever escapement, the movement stamped DEPOSE H. V in a circle, PARIS, 1621, striking on a bell under the hinged handle to a white card dial, 9.25in (23.5cm) h, with a winding key.
