A Victorian carved oak and bronze mounted large Gothic chiming bracket clock with bracket, with a colonnaded spire finial mounted frogs, the triple fusee movement with eight bells and five gongs, to a lancet shape engraved gilt dial with silvered chapter ring, signed A & H. ROWLEY 180 GRAY'S INN RD LONDON, above subsidiary dials for SLOW / FAST, CHIME / SILENT, CHIME ON 8 BELLS / CHIME ON 4 GONGS, flanked by canted angles with colonnaded spire finials with gargoyles, portcullis, rose and fleur de lys mounts, the sides with oriel windows, the base on paw feet, 43.25in (110cm) h, the bracket with goat head and frog mask mounts, the back with a lancet window with portcullis, fleur de lys, roses and knight's shields, 23.25in (59cm) h, 25.25in (64cm) w.
