A Victorian gilt bronze small tantalus, retailed by the Goldsmiths Company, London with a Betjemann's Patent locking bar, decorated with ferns and with three cut glass decanters and stoppers, to a plush lined base, stamped at either end beneath a crown 'THE TANTALUS', 'BETJEMANN'S PATENT 10165 LONDON' and 'GOLDSMITHS COMPANY 112 REGENT ST. LONDON', 8in (20.3cm) h, 9.25in (23.5cm) w. Locked.
