A Victorian goncalo alves centre table, by Holden & Co., Liverpool, the oval tilt-top with a wavy edge frieze on a turned and leaf and berry carved stem on three cabriole legs each with differing carving to the knee on scaly claw and ball feet and sunken brass castors, the block stamped 'HOLDEN & CO. LIVERPOOL', 28.5in (72cm) h, 54 x 39.75in (137 x 101cm).
Holden was a son of a gunsmith
