An Anglo-Indian ivory, sandalwood and lac decorated work box, Vizagapatam, of rectangular form with horn edging, decorated with engraved bands of scrolling leaves and flowers, the hinged lid to a lift-out tray with nine compartments, above further divisions with a central plush pin cushion, the base with a drawer on stepped block feet, 19th century, 6in (15.1cm) h, 14.25in (36.2cm) w, 10.75in (27.1cm) d.
