Description
A Chinese blue and white fluted bowl Wanli c.1580, with a foliate rim, and painted with ten flying horses leaping over waves above flowering branches, the interior with a mountain river scene and and wide band of flaming wheels and a further band of mountains, pagodas and small boats, the base with a four character seal mark which reads fu gui jia qi (beautiful vessel for the rich and honourable), 21cm dia.
