A Chinese Yixing teapot and cover 19th century, moulded as a bunch of bamboo, the knop, handle and spout formed as branches, marked beneath the handle, probably for Menghou, some restoration, 14.7cm. (2) Provenance: from the collection of John and Helen Bargolini. With paper label, exhibited Hoghton Tower, Exhibition of Chinese Tea Ware, Yixing Purple Clay, no.10.
