Description
A 19th century woolwork picture, 'The merry brown hare comes leaping,' 16 x 24in (41 x 61cm), the verso with a handwritten note - 'Woolwork picture of a Cotswold Hare, once the property of Mr Awbridge of Cold Aston Gloucestershire, who said the same was worked by his Great Grandmother. Purchased in 1920 by E.J.Morris & Co Ltd, 20 Clarence St Cheltenham.'
