A Mumuye primordial couple sharing one pair of legs, both with flat faces with white circle eyes and incised mouths, and single crest coiffure, the left figure with cuts to the nose, linked with cloth binding, angled arms and bodies with a ribbed oval central section to bent legs and feet, 14.25in (36cm) h, on a later perspex stand.
