Two George III silver-gilt Hanoverian pattern dessert forks,
by Richard Crossley, London 1784,
the reverse of the terminals engraved with an armorial, length 17.8cm, approx. weight 5.4oz. (2)
The arms are those of Booth, Earl of Warrington. These two forks were made to match a set of twenty-four others, London 1744, which were sold at Christie's London, 20 April 1921, lot 60.
