A George II provincial silver coffee pot,
by John Kirkup, Newcastle 1754,
tapering baluster form, scroll handle, domed cover with a cone finial, embossed with landscape scenes and foliate scroll decoration, engraved with an armorial, on a chased circular foot, scratch initialled 'R' over A*E', height 26.7cm, approx. weight 30oz.
The arms are those of Walsh of Ireland.
