Description

An early Victorian silver castle-top snuff box, by Joseph Willmore, Birmingham 1838, rectangular form, the hinged cover with a view of the keep at Windsor castle, the sides and base with engraved tartan decoration, the underside inscribed, ' Presented to S. M. Brunker 15th K.H. by his brother N.C Officers, May 27th, 1845,' the interior with a later presentation inscription, length 7.6cm, approx. weight 3.5oz.
