We have been given the following information about this quarry which "is Topley Pike (now closed). The railway line running along the front of the quarry is the now closed Midland Railway line from St. Pancras to Manchester Central, latterly called the G. Mex centre [recently changed]. The railway line on the left is located inthe hamlet of Blackwell and the line ran to Buxton. The quarry in the background is still very much operational and is called Tunstead. Blackwell Mill was ... the smallest station on the pre-war network.'
