A late Victorian ebonised striking bracket clock, with a triple fusee movement with a large gong and a peel of 8 bells, the backplate signed Boxell, Brighton 2562, with a 7 inch arch brass dial, with silvered chapter ring signed BOXELL, BRIGHTON, the arch with subsidiary Chime/Silent and Chime on Eight Bells/Chime on Four Bells dials, the case with gilt brass mounts including a pair of winged male figures holding torches, 23in (58.5cm) h.
