Description

A natural pearl and diamond spray brooch, circa 1955. Designed as seven sprays of baguette shaped diamonds (one diamond missing) and tied with three scrolls set with further baguette shaped diamonds and circular cut diamonds to the inner sections. Suspending the oval shaped pearl from a circular cut diamond. Obscure marks. Platinum. 6cm high. Accompanied with report number 5282 dated 24th February 2012 from the Gem and Pearl Laboratory stating that the part drilled pearl is oval in shape, measures 10.6 x 13 - 14mm, and is a natural pearl (saltwater) Accompanied with report number 64115 dated 19th July 2012 from SSEF stating that the oval, half-drilled pearl weighs 10.902cts (43.61 grains) and is a natural saltwater pearl, white with rose and green overtones.
