A large Chinese ivory carving of Shoulao 19th century, holding his enormous gnarled staff and a fruiting peach branch behind his back, standing wearing flowing robes with a crane and a small child holding a large peach, the lacquered base formed as pine and elaborately reticulated rockwork, 43cm.
