A Chinese carved wood figure of a boddhisatva in Yuan dynasty style, seated on rocks with her right arm resting upon a raised knee, decorated in blue, red and white pigments, contained in a glass case, extensively damaged, 47cm. (2) Provenance: the Reverend Dr K H Uttley, Cf. Holdsworth and Munn, Dictionary of Hong Kong Biography, p.444 for further details of the Reverend Dr Uttley.
