Two Chinese pale celadon jade carvings 18th century, one a recumbent hound with ribs visible and a long, curled tail, the other an elephant standing upon waves, with russet markings to the reverse, the elephant with a hole for suspension, 6.5cm max. (2) Provenance: the hound formerly in the collection of Constance Margaret Goldney of Ightham, Kent.
