The Coliseum was designed by Decimus Burton (1800-1881) in 1823 as part of John Nash's ambitious plans for The Regent's Park. It was opened in 1827 and was used to show Thomas Horner's vast panoramic view of London. It was demolished in 1875. This drawing was engraved by John Cox for Wood's Views of London.
