A George II Scottish mounted tortoiseshell and mother of pearl snuff mull, of upright waisted form with a vertically striped body a moulded girdle, engraved frieze and a heart cartouche on the cover, initialled "JG", the base inscribed "John Graham Esq. Nicolson Street Edinr. Obt. 3rd Dec 1775 aged 77", ivory lining, unmarked 1740-1760, 2.25in (5.8cm) high.
