A pair of South Staffordshire enamel candlesticks c.1760-70, the balustroid stems made in two sections and rising from wide spiral-moulded bases, painted with panels of flowers alternating with bands of a primrose yellow ground within a lilac border, with removable spiral fluted sconces, some restoration, 26cm.
