Description
A fine Coalport dessert service c.1810, well painted in the Japanese manner with central panels of pagodas beneath flowering prunus trees, within wide borders of birds in branches and flowerhead mon in an Imari palette, minor faults. Comprising: twenty four plates, a pair of oval sauce tureens with covers and stands, four square dishes, four oval dishes, four shell-shaped dishes, a square tray and an oval serving bowl. (44)
