A set of four Meissen Infant Seasons mid 18th century, modelled by J. J. Kändler, all seated on tapering plinths with gilt detailing, each with attributes pertaining to its individual time of year, Spring holding posies of flowers, Summer a sheaf of corn and a sickle, Autumn draped in fruiting vine and swigging from a goblet, Winter huddled over a brazier of hot coals, Spring with a faint blue crossed swords mark, 14cm max.
