A George III mahogany verge bracket clock, the 7 inch silvered dial signed Willm. Johnson, London, the arch containing Strike/Silent between engraved floral swags, knife edge verge escapement, the striking movement with trip repeat, the back plate monogrammed W.J. within engraved foliage, in a bell top case with brass mounts, urn finials and scrolled feet, surmounted by carrying handle, circa 1780, 1ft 8in (50cm) high.
